Call Me Ishmael Phone

The Call Me Ishmael Phone is a phone number, an answering machine, a website, and an invitation to “readers around the world to tell us stories about the books they love.” Book-lovers are invited to dial a phone number and leave voicemails about a book that is important to them. Universal Solvent Studios in collaboration with Andy Cavatorta Studio built a network of Raspberry pis that would playback, receive, and store calls from Call Me Ishmael participants.
